Wherever possible we aim to source our food from other small family run businesses and farms, within the local area.
We have a wide range of mostly English cheeses, and will do our best to find and provide any special cheese our customers require.
Our sausages and pork pies are made by an award winning Hampshire butcher, using only the very best free range pork. Small size is aways available, large may have to be cooked to order.
There is a delicious selection of cold meats and pates, including our most popular Italian rosemary raosted ham, and Spanish Serrano ham.
Our lovely pies and quiches are baked on the premises daily, and include lamb, redcurrant & rosemary, chicken and asparagus, Homity pie, Somerset cheddar, smoked chicken, smoked duck breast, and much more.
Our real Wiltshire bacon from Sandridge Farm really sizzles (not pumped full of water like many supermarket meats). We also have gammon steaks and joints for you to cook at home. There's traditional black pudding, and even a Dorset pasty made in Bridport, but with a genuine Cornish recipe. (Daft regulations mean we cannot call it a Cornish pasty of course.)
Our wide range of Continental produce includes the very best organic Spanish olive oil on tap, olives, anchovy fillets, sweet baby red peppers stuffed with cream cheese, hot baby jalepino peppers stuffed with feta, the finest risotto rice and pastas, and much more.
Cakes are provided by Lymington's Berry's Bakery, holders of the prestigious New Forest Marque. Examples like Dorset apple cake, coffee and walnut, and cherry and coconut are an absolute delight. Fruits of the forest is a real favourite, and it's wise to order in advance of Thursday's delivery.
Our home made lasagne is also very popular, and we take advance orders as it sells out rapidly.
Free range eggs and meringues come from Mrs Pennels Lower Woodgate Farm near Salisbury.
We even have locally made celeriac coleslaw, which is extremely popular.
We also stock a big range of cooking sauces, flavoured vingars, local New Forest honey, and much much more.
Our small buffets are also popular, and include home baked quiches, a selection of sandwiches, pates, olives, cheeses, etc.
